SURFING IN SPAIN
Cantabria has been the birthplace of surfing in Spain. This exposed coastline runs from one end of Cantabria to the other, receiving lots of swell throughout every season. The surf spots mainly consist of beach breaks, which are perfect for first-time surfers and intermediates. We recommend visiting during the Summer and early Autumn months. This period is particularly warm and sunny, yet receives the most user-friendly waves, often best suited to school groups.
OUR PARTNERED SURF CAMPS IN SPAIN
We organise bespoke school surf trips to Spain in collaboration with Star Surf and Dreamsea. Both surf camps are located within the region of Cantabria in North Spain. They offer a beautiful living space that integrates design and comfort with nature. Sleep in fully furnished bell tents and socialise within fun surf camp facilities.
By joining us at Dreamsea or Star Surf, you will be fully provided for throughout your surf trip. You will receive healthy meals and stay within walking distance from the beach. Join our private yoga classes, and experience varied outdoor activities, including stand-up-paddleboarding, surf camp games and a day trip to Comillas.
FLIGHTS & TRANSFERS
Flights and transfers are included within the price of your surf trip package. Return flights to Bilbao airport include one piece of hold luggage. We organise flights to Bilbao from regional airports throughout the United Kingdom. It is also possible to fly to Santander airport from London Stansted only.
The flight time from the United Kingdom to Bilbao is typically just two hours. A Schools Go Surfing Representative will either travel with your group or meet you at the airport on arrival. Our overseas partners will then facilitate your return airport transfers to the surf camp with Dreamsea or Star Surf.
